LIGHT UP THE TOWN WITH
MAIN STREET MOSIER
Main Street Mosier needs your help to make our beloved town glow this holiday season. 2020 has been an unusual year, to put it lightly, and Covid has affected our lives in more ways than we can count. Our traditional Winter Fest event must look quite different as well. We at MSM want to bring some extra light to the end of the 2020 tunnel by making the whole town shiny and bright during these ever-darkening winter days but we can’t fully deck the halls without the help of our neighbors.
Here’s how you can contribute to the cheer:
Decorate your house, yard, or a prominent tree with lights and other seasonal decorations to brighten your street.
Post a picture of your decorations to social media, tagging us on Facebook or Instagram @mainstreetmosier, or email a photo to email@example.com. We’d love to repost and share the photos you tag & send (with tagging credit where credit is due, of course.) If you’d like to give a theme to your decorations, that’s all the better!
If you aren’t able to decorate your home but have some supplies that others could use, please let us know! We’ll facilitate a “decoration lending” program that ensures your decorations are put to good use, and then returned to you after the holidays.
In keeping with some cherished tradition, Main Street Mosier has partnered with local businesses, the City, Mosier Fruit Growers, and Todd Reeves of Mosier WiNet to decorate Totem Plaza bigger & better than ever! We aren’t able to gather together for a lighting ceremony this year, so look for the big display after dusk and know that we are banded together in celebration of the season, despite the need to be apart. Enjoy the festive feelings on independent walks through town, take pictures and share them with us and others, and most importantly, stay safe and happy this holiday season!
WINTER FEST 2019
It's the most wonderful time of the year—for a community tree lighting event at Totem Plaza in Downtown Mosier.
Mosierites huddled together on the evening of Saturday, December 14, 2019 for a family-friendly holiday celebration. Kids big and small enjoyed a festive visit from Santa Claus and a tasty chili feed, including corn bread, hot chocolate, and warm apple cider. Community members brought their favorite holiday cookies to share, and ornaments to hang on the tree.
We look forward to celebrating with all of you at the next Winter Fest!
